A well-loved candle burns beautifully. Follow these simple steps to ensure an even, clean burn and to extend the life of your Peach & Palm candle.
Before You Light
Trim the wick to ¼ inch before each burn. This helps prevent soot, keeps the flame steady, and allows the fragrance to shine without smoke.
The First Burn Matters
Allow the wax to melt evenly across the entire surface on the first burn. This creates a “memory” for the candle and helps prevent tunneling in future burns.
Burn Time
Burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time. Avoid burning longer than 4 hours to maintain the integrity of the wax and fragrance.
Wick Care
Keep the wick centered and upright while burning. If you notice mushrooming or excess carbon, extinguish the flame, trim the wick, and relight once cooled.
Safety First
Always burn on a heat-resistant surface and keep away from drafts, pets, and anything flammable. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
When to Stop
Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains. This helps prevent overheating of the vessel.
